SSM - Course, update September 09
We will arrange a 4-5 day SIG Sea Marshal Course soon.
Syllabus: adv medic, ship inspection/captains brief, safety on board, radio/gps/nav, and anti-piracy. Information will be posted soon!
SIG Medic Course, update April 09
SIG will hold an advanced Field Medic Course in May/June, probably in relations to the SSM Course.
CPO Course 15th March, update March 09
The Basic CPO course was completed with great success in March.
SSM - ANTI-PIRACY, update 11.01.09
SIG has deployed 16 Sea Marshals (SSM-personnel) to the Gulf of Aden. They will work with Anti-Piracy and maritime security/safety for a client. It’s a long term contract.

SIG High Risk Operations (HRO), update 7th Feb 09
SIG got a new special unit working worldwide with Hi-Risk operations. To qualify to wear the HRO patch (logo), one has to have completed both the Low-Risk and Hi-Risk courses, and have worked in a Hi-Risk area.
